Its wholly-owned subsidiary is Global MD Asset Management.

In 2004, Global Investment Holdings transformed into an investment holding company and transferred its brokerage operations to its wholly-owned subsidiary, Global Securities. Following its IPO in 2011, Global Securities began trading on Borsa Istanbul under the ticker symbol GLBMD.

In June 2015, Global Securities acquired Eczacıbaşı Securities, another leading non-bank brokerage firm, along with its subsidiary, Emdaş Portfolio Management. This acquisition brought together two well-established companies under one roof, creating significant synergy and forming one of Turkey’s largest independent brokerage houses.
