Solar Power Plants
Consus Enerji's investments and activities in the solar energy sector encompass licensed power plants as well as unlicensed power plants under the distributed power framework, designed to meet the self-consumption needs of medium- and large-scale enterprises. Alongside domestic projects, various international projects and opportunities are being explored, with continuous efforts underway to expand the solar energy-based production portfolio in the future.
Consus Enerji's Licensed Solar Power Plant, which became operational at the beginning of 2020, continues its operations with an installed capacity of 10.8 MWp. The power plant, established on approximately 18 hectares of land, generates over 20 GWh of electricity annually using photovoltaic modules. Ra Solar Power Plant is one of the first licensed facilities in Türkiye to utilize a solar tracking system. As a pioneer in this field, the plant achieves a high level of efficiency in terms of generation performance per installed capacity.
Consus Enerji has undertaken investments in solar power plants as a secondary source, with a capacity of 10.2 MWp, integrated within its biomass power plants, to improve the efficiency and capacity utilization of its facilities.
In Consus Enerji's Distributed Power division, approximately 5.3 MWp of unlicensed distributed solar power plants have been commissioned, with new investments underway.
